Dear Sir
thank you for contacting Suunto.
This problem can be solved by installing a new battery. Unfortunately, battery on any Suunto product is not covered by warranty.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the battery life when end users buy products as we do not know the time the unit has been stored until it gets to the customer. (The battery is installed in the unit at the factory.)
