nomio can be used both during training and build-up periods as well as before competition, but with different purposes.
During training and build-up periods:
Isothiocyanates (ITC) acts as a mild pro-oxidant that enhances the adaptive effects of training by activating signaling pathways important for muscle adaptation. Regular use during training periods can contribute to better aerobic capacity, i.e. the ability to run faster at the same relative intensity level, and improved recovery.
We recommend one shot of nomio per day during normal (intense) training, taken 3 hours before training. During particularly intense training periods and on especially tough training days, we recommend two doses—one 3 hours before the session and one 1 hour before bedtime to enhance recovery. On rest days or during lighter training weeks, we do not recommend taking ITC.
Before competition:
ITC has been shown to reduce lactate levels during submaximal exertion, which may provide a performance advantage in competition.
In summary, ITC can be used both during training and before competition, but continuous intake during intense training periods provides the greatest long-term benefits as it increases your body’s response to training.
Lastly, please note that thedose-responseof nomio is U-shaped, where a moderate dose (one shot of nomio) provides the best effect, while excessive doses may be counterproductive.
